Tracking the Vietnamese and its food

Vietnamese store
I'm fond of hanging out with my friends at Vietnamese cafés or food stores since my move to Cambodia. Hmm... I am influenced by the Vietnamese lifestyles?? Of course "yes". There are, however, some candid reasons behind this hobby after my year-long adventure in Vietnam.

There's no doubt that from a simple chili sauce to mostly high-quality imported products in Cambodia are from Vietnam.

Well, there's an interesting thing among these Vietnamese vendors as they prefer using Khmer in their usual communication to their mother tongue.

And It's not a big mistake if we say the chicken in the bowl is even imported from Vietnam(I hope it's not, though). Cambodia must strive more to stand by itself from these imported stuff.

  1. hahaha!! Vietnamese food in Cambodia, i assure, is really delicious unlike what they do here, in Vietnam itself. It can be the Vietnamese food with Cambodians' taste then it becomes yummy :) Where is it in the photos then ? i'll go to test when i go back :D

  2. Yeah, the Vietnamese food here is better than in the North and it's ubiquitous in Phnom Penh.

In the post, it's a few meters from Soriya superstore. I like "chân gà luộc" and "sò huyết luộc" with beer there.

Prepare your $, I can guide you there *lol*
