Behind the smile of CamboSix closure.

CamboSixRecent iron fist from prime minister Hun Sen crackdowning some licensed/unlicensed gamblings is gaining landslide applaud from his countrymen, especially from the ones who suffer the domestic violence, property loses, their children' wrong-doing. However, the recent mesure without warnings of the prime minister over CamboSix, the country's largest licensed football-gambling agency, may bring uncertain views of the Kingdom's investment climate.
And rather obviously, there is no rule of law. If the PM wants you closed, you will be closed. That you are a legally licensed business with rights for which your company paid millions, no matter.
source: details are sketchy

To my personal idea, even though CamboSix operates under a licensed business, but it has really been provoking very bad disorder in the Cambodian society recently, and this closure is a right choice of our strongman.

I miss Hanoi because...

  • There's a cut-throat Winter.
  • There's a school where I'd spent my year-long student life.
Hanoi
  • I could hange out at late night without caring about personal security.
  • Every motorcyclists have to helmet up.
Hanoi
  • There were a lot of pretty girls joining the street in the evening.
  • I could easily see couples making loves in public.

Cambodian teens see wearing helmet unstylish??

sreThe Cambodian government has issued a degree forcing the nation-wide motorcyclists to put "wing mirrors" and to wear "helmet" when joining the street. Unfortunately, I see the new law is poorly obeyed.
sre
The rich and the teens take high majority for those who break the law. They regard "having wing mirrors" or "wearing helmet" is something for the ones from countryside or for those whose is uncivilized or unfashionable. Sic!

How to go online without connection or Wifi at low class café?

Hey, don't get confused -- and there's no trick here at all. I just wanna let you know that now I can get connected anywhere and anytime I need by using a Flash-like modem with SIM.

My friends enjoying the internet at a jungle-like café in Phnom Penh.

And they are happy with StarCell's SIM that is reasonable and fast enough.

Áo Dài in the Phnom Penh's street.

I'm still alive :p
Well, there're a lot of Vietnamese in Cambodia. But it's rare to see them dressing in Áo Dài(long Vietnamese traditional robe) in common.
Ao Dai
As I guess, the woman might be working for a Vietnamese company here as she's well-dressed using helmet, driving a Phnom Penh-based motorbike. With the present of a man with Scooter on the right, this makes the scene look very alike Saigon or Hanoi of Vietnam.

* The photo taken with iPhone in a very poor condition(driving).
