Hun Sen, Abhishit, and Thaksin making tough headlines

Khmer Thai flagFor these couple days, I'm hardly glued to the newest row between Thailand and Cambodia. Their leaders keep trading war of words, in an attempt to attack or hurt each other.

Recently, prime minister Hun Sen of Cambodia reportedly welcomes any visit by the ousted former Thai prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra with a luxurious resident waiting for him as asylum in Cambodia.

Thailand later responded with threatening to seek extradition of Thaksin if he stays in Cambodia. Government of Cambodia, however, replies with rejection to hand Thaksin back to Thailand if he lays foot in Cambodia. Yes, like a slap in Abhishit's face, Hun Sen also mulls over offering Thaksin job as his economic advisor.

Wow.. you see? It's really HOT. The problem is even now running high at the Asean summit of which Thailand is a host.

Cambodia and Thailand have been at loggerheads over the Khmer temple, Preah Vihear of Cambodia for more than a year after the temple was recognized as Unesco World heritage. This has caused several skirmishes which left 7 soldiers dead. Cambodia find Thai leaders, especially the Abbhisit's government, no real intention of solving the conflict. And to my idea, to release anger and from a good opportunity of Asean summit, prime minister Hun Sen of Cambodia is tapping on Abishit's head for his neglect on Cambodia's demands, and as a revenge for several non-human abuses against innocent Khmer people who were shot dead by Thai soldiers.

One place one service

In Phnom Penh, if you have problem with your motorbike's wheel (not straight), most big dealers could not provide you the reparation. Something like in the photo below.
repairman
Right adjacent to Wat Mohamontrey's fence, there're plenty of servicemen without a permanent shelter (banned by authority) waving at you. It's about 10.000 Riels (2.5$) for a wheel. You hardly find another place giving such a service in Phnom Penh. From this reason, both service providers and clients flock to the place.

P/s: I've just had both of my motorbike's wheel repaired this morning. It took me 15.5$ :)
