Travel log: Singapore-Malaysia (day3)

May, 14th 2010: I continued my trip to Putrajaya, the brand-new city of Malaysia, which also serves as the federal administrative centre of the country.

at Putrajaya
Almost government administrative offices station there, and they are very very big. However, we rarely see a single man on the surface, as most of the activities occur in the basements.

at Putrajaya
The city is very beautiful and clean. Behind me that's a big pond which is reportedly human-made in accordance to Chinese Feng Shui (Hong Suy).

Travel log: Singapore-Malaysia (day2)

I went to a few other tourist destinations in Singapore like Sentosa,.. But the recently human-made sites seem not much interest me.

On May, 13th 2010, I continued my trip to Malaysia and stopped by Malacca, the city which historically gave birth to today Malaysia.

Malacca
Malacca is a beautiful and peaceful city. Behine me: one of the Dutch colonial buildings. The city underwent two colonizations: Portuguese and Dutch.

Malacca
Poh San Teng is a historical Chinese temple. It stands there for about 200 years old so far.

Malacca
Poh San Teng attracts some visits of top Chinese leaders. In the photo is former Chinese president Jiang Zemin's visit to the temple.

Malacca
Here is regarded as the World's most crowded Chinese cemetory (outside China).

Travel log: Singapore-Malaysia (day1)

Selamat datang Singapura! (in Malay, which means Welcome to Singapore!).

On May, 12th 2010, my first trip abroad, beside Vietnam, to Singapore. The first thing stepping on the land, I was amazed by its infrastructures: great traffic systems, lot of high-rise buildings,.. and very clean atmosphere.

at Singapore
Behind me: a highrise building formed by three skyscrappers which are vertically enhanced by a ship-like structure on the top.

at Singapore
The city is even smaller than Phnom Penh, but from a richer urbanization, we rarely get stuck in traffic jam.
