Trying to jailbreak technology dependency

Most of us living in the modern society are now technology-dependent -- from simple basic calculation to sophisticated solutions. Actually, it would be a nightmare of mine if I lost all contacts on my phone, since only about 0.1% of them are in my head, and are mostly relatives only :P
I face some difficulty when having no a calculator aside for some basic calculations.
BCC also reported about the problem, and scientists said most of us don't even use more than 0.1% of our brain's capability.

Well, majority of my daily works are aided by the internet, computer, and by my smartphone. I don't care what to remember for tomorrow after noting in my phone. I have kept in touch with you for years, and one day I would say "excuse me, may I have your name?" after losing your contact from an error on my phone or on an internet server where my second brain are stored. Would we have to go to elementary school again if one day the computer/internet crashed worldwide??
